[edit] Cooking methods

[edit] Frying

This is often the most common form of preparing bacon.

  1. Separate pieces of bacon on a cold skillet.
  2. Place the skillet on medium heat.
    • Don't move the bacon until it can release easily.
  3. Gently lift the edges while the bacon starts to get darker on the first side.
  4. Turn the bacon by using tongs or fork and cook the other side until it releases easily again.
  5. Continue to turn the bacon very often to maintain even cooking.
  6. When there are no more pink, white, or translucent areas on the bacon, turn the heat off.
  7. Place the bacon on to a paper towel to drain the grease.
  8. Eat and enjoy!
