The elusive Heggs Bacon (a.k.a. Hog particle) is the potential answer to all the problems faced with bacon-lovers across the world. Baconologists have been working day and night to find this awesome Bacon particle, some times referred to as the Hog particle. This is the key to proving that all bacon comes, not from the Hog Mother, but the Big Bacon.

The Heggs Bacon is theoretical particle of bacon that would prove the theory of the Big Bacon. BaconCERNed created the LFP, or Large Frying Pan, to find the Heggs Bacon to prove that all bacon particles came not from the Hog Mother, but from the Big Bacon.

Much is unknown about the Heggs Bacon, but Bacontologists believe that its discovery will prompt the following:
- Proof of the existence of the Grease Field.
- Provide understanding and insight into the origins and characteristics of the Universal Bacon Weave
- Give Baconlightenment
- The power to eliminate any vegetable or like substance
- To save the world from the Anti-Bacon

The Large Frying Pan (LFP) was shutdown recently due to grease containment failure. None were hurt in the accident, but the LFP was taken offline for cleaning and repairs until Spring of 2009. The LFP was conducting operational tests ("Warmup"), and no results have been found as of yet.
